All of you end times prophets, and pounders of the doomsday drum; this is for you. April 23, 2018 will come and go as any other day, so forget what you were hoping would be a reprieve, and get your United States Federal Income Taxes filed.
Our intrepid Armageddon conspiracy theorist, David Meade, is at it again, predicting that the Christian Rapture, spoken of in the Bible, will occur on April 23rd. He claims on this date, the sun, the moon, and Jupiter will align in the constellation of Virgo, striking a match that will culminate in the Biblical Rapture.
Meade and other conspiracy theorists claim on that night, the death planet Nibiru also will appear in the sky, and trigger worldwide madness, including World War III and the appearance of the Antichrist.
Scriptural references to support their beliefs are from the Book of Revelation, Chapter 12:1–2, which reads: “A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.”
It is conjectured, on April 23rd the sun and moon will be in Virgo, as will Jupiter, which supposedly represents Jesus, the Messiah. Jupiter being there provides the theorists their validation that proves this will be the time of the Rapture.
Now if people were going to actually put any faith into these recent end time predictions, they would need to be aware of two major problems. The first is, there is no evidence for, nor proof of a planet Nibiru. Plain and simple, it does not exist. The second problem is the astronomy used for the predictions is not remotely accurate. Jupiter is in Libra on April 23rd, and the moon is between Leo and Cancer. And none of the bodies is in Virgo.
As much as David Meade would like to get one of his prophetic calculations and predictions correct, the public may rest assured, comparing his astrology to Scriptures gives strong indication he has missed yet again.
Good luck getting those taxes filed on time, and perhaps Mr Meade can go back, and find that planet Nibiru before predicting the end of the world, again.
My mother has been waiting for the end of the world for 40 years. Sad, really. No way to live your life, the only one you can be sure you’ll ever have.
